John started working for HOK/Populous in 1989 as a Sr. Designer. Over the next thirteen years he advanced to the position of Principal and Head of Interiors for the Kansas City, Missouri office. John remains very proud and honored to have worked with some of the most talented individuals in Sports Architecture and will always treasure the time spent at HOK/ Populous. The following photos represent some of the projects worked on with several other Designers within HOK/ Populous. The work completed while at HOK/ Populous will always be considered the roots of his career and the start of his ongoing practice in Entertainment Architecture.
