John is defined, driven and distinguished by a belief in the value Architecture and Interior Design have in people’s lives. Making Architecture come alive in the experience of those who interact with it has always been at the forefront of a BlueBike design. John’s vision for BlueBike is to have an architectural and interior design studio that services clients by provide engaging spaces, memorable experiences, and vibrant solutions. Solutions that include and address the spaces between the architecture.

John was a founding partner when BlueBike started in 2002 and has been constantly focused on evolving and making it better. BlueBike Architectural and Interior Design Studios is a product of John’s accumulative experience as the Technical Lead of all U.S. Architectural offices for Merrick and Co. in Denver, Colorado, Principal and Head of Interiors for HOK Sport/ Populous and an Assoc. Professor of Architecture at Kansas State University. He has been on the design team for some of the most prestigious projects in the US and abroad; Sea Star Villa in the Dominican Republic, Verizon Wireless Proto-type Retail Stores, AMC Theatres, FedEx Field NFL, Cleveland Indians MLB, Cleveland Browns NFL, Pittsburgh Steelers NFL, Coors Field MLB, Pepsi Center in Denver, Colorado and many more.
